A relaxing stay in the city center of Biarritz in a 3 star family hotel on the Basque Coast.

The first hotel La Maison du Lierre, was born in 2003 in Bordeaux, a stone’s throw from the city center. It takes its name from a centenary ivy that was in the back yard of the hotel. Finally the word “home” inspired the owner Helene DEVEZE because it reminded her of the charm of a guest house and not a standard hotel chain. The hotel of Bordeaux was resold in 2013 but has kept its name of which Madame and Mr DEVEZE are the owners.

Meanwhile, they acquired in 2006 the hotel La Maison du Lierre in Biarritz, a large red building built in 1903 formerly called Le Malouthéa. The hotel, previously a very “English” style, was completely renovated by the owner who is also an artist / painter. Goodbye pink tapestry and green carpet, place in the red stucco of Venice, stone or Marmorino tone and the old parquet floor. You can now go down the wooden staircase, which is classified as one of the “monuments” in the city, or take advantage of the garden outside on fine days, arranged by Monsieur DEVEZE, with all this, the warm welcome of their team.
